Stripes love colors!

For the joy of all color lovers, we finally released multicolor stripes!

You may notice the link [add color] near the first stripe color. Without surprise, it allows you to add up to 5 different colors for your stripes, that you can remove with the [remove] link near each of them. We think it’s sooooooo Web2.0!

Back and reviewed on KillerStartups!

Latest weeks have been really intensive.

A massive feedback and a lot of feature requests have taken us busy, together with new cool ideas we’re working on, and that we hope to release really really soon.

After 3 weeks of life, we hope that StripeGenerator has been useful in daily tasks of all designers and, above all, non-designers :)

StripeGenerator reviewed on KillerStartups.com

But, in all our duties, there are some good news: KillerStartups.com reviewed our tool, and we’re incredibly happy! From their review:

“Why it might be a killer:
It’s an easy tool for people to use quickly if they want to change their site up a bit. It’s free and simple to use, and if they use it, they can get their page included in the list of pages using the stripes, which means more people might see their site.”

Obviously, if you like our tool, feel free to vote for us on their page, to make us real killers :)

About 2.0

Filed under: stripegenerator.com, web design — fabio @ 5:16 pm

Hi folks!

We’re online since March 27, and we received a lot of comments; many people liked our tool, someone didn’t figure out how to take advantage of it.

But there are also a few people claiming our use of “2.0″ label on our pages, someone else refer our tool as a joke.

We’re happy people and we like to think and work in a smart and fun way, so why don’t call ourselves “2.0 guys”, or our applications “2.0 tools”? It’s funny and it doesn’t affect at all the substance of things: I think you like or dislike Stripe Generator, despite of 2.0, beta, or foo labeling.

We’ll continue using that 2.0 thing, because we love playing and having fun, and 2.0 sounds better than “Javascript XmlHttpRequest Enabled Single Page Application” :)

Don’t worry, be happy!

New blog, new features!

We’ve managed to put up this blog, thanks to that great piece of software that is WordPress! First of all, let us thank you for all your enthusiasm and feedbacks! They were really impressive!

But now, let’s talk about new features. A first history and bookmark support is now provided, so you can save, share and do what you prefer with your favorite stripes! At the moment, bookmarks seem to work with all major browsers (tested on Firefox, IE, Safari and Opera), while history support is currently available only on IE and Firefox. We’re working on compatibility issues, and hope to solve them as soon as possible.

About the future, there is A LOT to do, because webdesign is our duty, and we want to make it the best (and the fastest) way possible!

..I said duty? Oh, well, I meant passion :)
